We spent most of our career helping companies build products and services to serve the needs of everyday consumers like you and me. In the process, we became expert at identifying the determinants of new product success, and the sales and marketing programs to promote them. In fact, during the course of our career, we analyzed petabytes of data across thousands of programs in order to identify the critical success factors (CSF) of success so we could use it to make more money.
From all the data we analyzed, it became clear to us that a “service mentality,” and the act of service itself, was at the heart of success in any business endeavor. In fact, we discovered that companies with the best services were growing 10X faster compared to those companies who scored lower in their service quality. We also discovered that a "service mentality" was at the heart of personal success, too, so we kept digging to learn more.
It turns out that service to others has a profound impact in many areas of life and business we did not expect. We learned that service has a substantial impact on fighting diseases (and lowering healthcare costs), and that even witnessing an act of service would raise the level of immunoglobulin A in your blood, which fights bacteria and viruses. We also uncovered additional research that showed service was a natural remedy to combat depression and anger because it increases levels of natural opiates. We labeled this the do-good feel-good phenomenon.
The list of benefits was growing, and the power of service became clear to us. However, it had taken us a lot of academic degrees, 15 years of professional experience, and millions of dollars in market research to figure it out. It all seemed like our little secret, and we didn't think much about it until The Great Repression hit. We felt we had to share what we discovered and do something to help-it was then that Mental Mojo was born.
Mental Mojo is focused on helping companies assess, develop, and build a service mentality that is proven to be the cornerstone of success in any business endeavor. The outcome will be better products and services, greater customer satisfaction, improved employee morale, lower healthcare costs, and greater financial growth.
